Overview of the Role
The WestJet App is being transformed into a Day of Travel Command Centre, helping guests navigate their journey with greater confidence through timely information, self-service tools, disruption support, personalized experiences, and seamless access to their travel information.
We are looking for an Intermediate Product Owner to help bring this vision to life.
Working within an agile product team, you will own a portfolio of mobile app capabilities and initiatives, driving them from discovery through delivery and ongoing optimization. You will work closely with developers, designers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver experiences that create measurable value for guests and the business.
You will also play a key role in maintaining a strong pulse on the voice of the guest. By partnering with teams across the business and proactively monitoring App Store reviews, guest feedback, analytics, and operational insights, you will help ensure product decisions are informed by real guest needs and real-world performance.
Success means delivering meaningful product improvements while maintaining a constant pulse on the health of the mobile experience. You will own initiatives that contribute to the evolution of the WestJet App as a Day of Travel Command Centre while ensuring guest feedback, analytics, product quality, and real-world usage insights continuously shape what we build next.
The ideal candidate combines strong product ownership skills with curiosity, accountability, and an obsession with quality. They are equally comfortable discussing roadmap priorities, investigating guest-reported issues, reviewing analytics, and delivering initiatives that improve the mobile experience.
You will help create an app experience that guests trust, rely on, and want to return to throughout their journey.
