About the role
As our instructor, you will need to fulfill the following tasks and responsibilities in the mentioned fields of training:
Create instructional training material based on regulations, company procedures and standards (classroom and online training)
Deliver on-site and virtual trainings with subject-matter expertise
Demonstrate the ability to present complex materials in a simplified way to achieve the learning objectives
Update the training material based on changes in regulations/procedures
Support the administration of the department
Ensure keeping practical and theoretical knowledge up-do-date and adapt modern instructional methods
Essential requirements for the position
General school leaving certificate of secondary education or equivalent (e.g. A-Level, BAC, Abitur), a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is considered as an advantage;
Operational experience in air cargo acceptance
Procedural knowledge of IATA DGR and other related regulations
Previous experience as instructor is considered as an advantage
Ability to present and give instructions in front of a multicultural audience
Proactive, safety- and quality-oriented attitude
Ability to deal effectively with complexity and good problem-solving skills
Feeling comfortable to work in a team as well as autonomously
Good computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams)
Fluency in written and spoken English
Working conditions
Full-time position based in Luxembourg
A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
Based on status of business related licences, the position holder will start in a CAT6 (Instructor) and after acquistion of these licences be upgraded to a CAT 7 (Technical Instructor)
