Job Title
Site Reliability Engineering
This role bridges operational reporting, observability, and SRE automation, supporting platform reliability across Amadeus systems. You will maintain and evolve SQL‑based operational reporting while progressively transitioning toward core SRE responsibilities, including CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and monitoring.
Ideal for a mid‑level engineer with strong data, observability, and operations foundations who wants to grow into modern SRE practices.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and optimise SQL queries for operational reporting, performance analysis, and incident investigation.
Analyse and transform data from multiple systems using SQL and scripting.
Build and maintain dashboards in Elasticsearch/Kibana to support monitoring, observability, and root‑cause analysis.
Support SRE observability by improving log parsing, data quality, and query performance.
Collaborate with SRE, engineering, and operations teams to improve service stability and data accessibility.
Gradually take on SRE responsibilities, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud platforms.
Troubleshoot system issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and recommend workflow improvements.
Contribute to cross‑team initiatives and knowledge sharing.
About You
2–5 years’ experience in SRE, operations, or data‑focused roles.
Strong hands‑on SQL skills and experience with operational or analytical databases.
Experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana (or similar platforms).
Familiarity with DevOps fundamentals (CI/CD, deployments, infrastructure concepts).
Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) and Linux command‑line experience.
Exposure to cloud platforms, IaC, or monitoring tools is a plus.
Collaborative mindset and strong English communication skills.
