Position Summary
The Flight Operations Auditor is responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of the airline’s operational safety, compliance, and quality assurance programs within Flight Operations and the Flight Training Program. This role supports the Internal Evaluation Program (IEP) and Safety Management System (SMS) by conducting audits, identifying risks, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and company standards. The position plays a critical role in maintaining operational integrity, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across flight operations. Job Responsibilities
Plans, conducts, and documents internal audits of Flight Operations on behalf of the Internal Evaluation Program (IEP).
Audits the Flight Training Program to include curriculum, AQP flight training devices, training events, records etc.
Evaluates compliance with:
FAA / regulatory requirements (e.g., FAR Part 121)
Company policies and procedures
International standards (e.g., IOSA where applicable)
Assess effectiveness of operational controls and safety risk mitigations
Identifies operational hazards and areas of risk within Flight Operations
Evaluates the effectiveness of Safety Risk Management (SRM) controls through safety assurance.
