Job Description
L3Harris Fuzing & Ordnance Systems is in search of an Engineering Technician who will work with a multi-disciplinary team to collaboratively design, manufacture, and test electronic and electro-mechanical devices that support war fighters for the USA and our allies. The ideal candidate should have experience using manual and automated test equipment ( multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal test generators, power supplies, counters, etc.) and experience troubleshooting electronic circuitry to the component level.
Essential Functions
Set up test equipment and perform electronic testing, both manual and automated, in a production environment.
Perform electronic troubleshooting and fault isolation.
Record test data, maintain test data file system, shop routing documentation and accept/reject data for production & engineering assemblies.
Assist technicians and engineers in performing Root Cause and Failure Analysis.
Calibrate electronic test measuring equipment and signal generating equipment to conform to set standards.
Correct malfunctions by adjusting or replacing parts or components.
Assist Engineering in establishing operating standards for test systems including detailed test plans and work instructions.
