Primary Job Duties
As a Purchasing Agent, you will work closely with assigned maintenance bases to ensure they have the parts needed for a successful operation.
Purchase parts for maintenance bases
Responsible for aircraft on ground (AOG) and critical purchases
Evaluate costs for consumable inventory
Maintain accurate purchase files
Communicate with bases and vendors
Monitor and expedite orders
Minimum Requirements *No previous airline experience needed*
We are looking for individuals with an interest in the airline industry who have the following traits:
18 years of age or older
Have a High School Diploma or GED
Pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen
Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Self-motivated
Communication and people skills
Computer skills, including Microsoft Word & Excel
Work independently and as an integral part of a team
Job knowledge is gained through on the job training.
Physical and Other Requirements
Schedule Monday - Friday
Either four 10-hour shifts (4/10s) or five 8-hour shifts (5/8s) are available for full-time employees.
Live near or be willing to relocate to St. George, UT (no remote work opportunities available for this position)
