Company The Boeing Company The Southern California Global Design Center Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently seeking a Certification Integration Engineer (Mid-Level or Senior) to become part of the Commercial Modifications Engineering IPT in Long Beach, California. The Certification Integration Engineer will lead certification planning and integration for post‑production airplane modifications across Boeing platforms (e.g., 737, 777, 787), ensuring regulatory compliance from concept through FAA acceptance. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Mid-Level and Senior Certification Integration Engineers. Position Responsibilities Lead certification planning and integration across internal and external teams to document post‑production certification requirements for major change commercial modification projects Review and fully understand project statements of work to identify safety and certification impacts Participate in milestone reviews (ITCM, PDR, CDR) and verify certification readiness for each gate Define certification plan scope, structure, phases, and schedule; create and maintain the Certification Strategy Document Coordinate with Program Management, design engineers, DAEs, E‑UMs, and any technical staff to develop and complete certification inputs Validate compliance to FAA Title 14 Part 25 (and/or EASA equivalent) and draft executive summaries Own certification plans and deliverable matrices for ATC/STC projects from conception through Regulatory Administration and FAA acceptance Manage multiple certification plans concurrently, ensuring on‑time, first‑pass quality and alignment with modification schedules Track and report certification status and risks; escalate and drive issue resolution to closure Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience) Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement 3+ years of experience implementing processes and standards compliant with airplane certification stand…
