Your role
As a system engineer you will be a crucial part of the Saab G1X system engineering team which is highly associated with a cross functional collaboration between customers, product managers, project managers, development and verification engineers.
In this role, Systems Engineering is the foundation of everything you do. You will take ownership of system-level work from requirements through to delivery with a strong focus on interpreting customer needs, ensuring alignment with our base product, and coordinating across disciplines such as integration, structure, and architecture rather than detailed component design. You will divide your time between customer deliveries and internal development tasks depending on current needs.
A key part of the role is to break down and interpret customer project requirements and apply them to our existing technical base product. This means translating customer-specific needs into structured system requirements, ensuring they align with our platform architecture and technical capabilities, while maintaining traceability and supporting reuse across projects.
The role is based in Mölnlycke.

You are comfortable navigating both technical and organizational interfaces, translating customer needs into robust solutions while fostering collaboration across teams. With a proactive and structured approach, you take ownership of your work and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
We believe you have:
Solid experience in Systems Engineering, preferably using the V-model, and a strong educational background in engineering.
A broad system perspective and the ability to understand, analyze, and optimize complete solutions, including interfaces and system dependencies.
