Job Overview
Are you interested in using creativity, storytelling, and marketing to help shape the experience at one of the world’s busiest airports? The Marketing Internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting creative content, special events, marketing campaigns, and DFW Airport’s public art program.
Working alongside experienced marketing and creative professionals, the intern will support projects that strengthen DFW Airport’s brand, engage the community, and enhance the customer experience. This internship is designed for students pursuing a career in marketing, communications, public relations, arts administration, graphic design, or a related field.
What you will be doing
Assists with developing and organizing marketing materials, including digital content, presentations, photography, video, and event collateral, to support consistent branding and messaging.
Supports the planning and execution of special events and marketing initiatives by assisting with logistics, preparing materials, and coordinating activities.
Assists with public art program initiatives, including researching artists and community engagement opportunities, organizing program information, and supporting promotional materials.
Maintains project timelines, creative briefs, and meeting recaps; tracks assigned action items and provides progress updates to the Marketing team.
Researches marketing trends, compiles campaign and event results, and collaborates with team members to present findings and recommend creative ideas for future initiatives.
What you need
Must be an active student in a Bachelor’s degree program in marketing, communications, business administration, public relations, arts administration, graphic design, or a related field.
18 years of age or older.
What we desire
Current, cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, including but not limited to students attending the following universities: University of North Texas, University of Texas at Arlington, University of Texas at Dallas, Paul Quinn College, or University of Oklahoma.
