Why United Rotorcraft?
Based in Englewood, Colorado, United Rotorcraft designs and modifies mission-critical aircraft supporting air medical, firefighting, military, law enforcement, and other specialized operations.
As a Quality Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our aircraft products and materials meet the highest standards for quality, regulatory compliance, and customer requirements. You’ll work across teams to maintain quality processes and help ensure the safety and reliability of the aircraft solutions we deliver.
Pay
Salary Range: $70,717 – $88,410 annually Actual compensation is based on relevant experience, education, technical expertise, certifications, and overall qualifications. This position is also eligible for Air Methods’ comprehensive employee benefits package.
Responsibilities
Supplier Quality
Monitor supply chain KPI’s, including Supplier OTD (Past due), product defects (NCR), and waste
Communicate engineering and manufacturing specifications to supplier technical teams
Serve as back-up to the Supplier Quality Engineer in managing problem solving and root cause analysis activities with suppliers to eliminate recurrence of non‐conforming product
Serve as back-up to the Supplier Quality Engineer to resolve supplier technical issues in a timely manner to ensure continuity of supply
Serve as back-up to the Supplier Quality Engineer with supplier performance improvement projects to increase supplier capability; projects may include process/workflow analysis, value stream mapping, process capability and throughput analysis, 5S and Kaizen events
Management Review
Perform quality and performance data analysis; provide to management team to support Business/Management Review meetings
Document minutes during Business/Management Review Meetings
Corrective/Preventive Action
Lead activities with stakeholders for root cause analysis, FMEA, and other quality and risk management tools to investigate trends and develop corrective and preventive action plans
Document minutes for the CAPA meetings
