The role
As a Security Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in safeguarding one of the UK's most important defence and marine engineering environments. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you'll ensure that physical security, classified information management and compliance with government security requirements are effectively managed across the site.
This is a high-profile leadership role where your expertise will directly support national security, protect critical infrastructure and enable the successful delivery of defence programmes. You'll work alongside stakeholders at all levels, influence strategic decision-making and lead security operations that make a real difference. Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:
Leading all aspects of physical security across the Rosyth Business Park site.
Advising management teams on the interpretation and implementation of security requirements for classified contracts.
Managing systems and processes that protect classified documents, materials and sensitive information.
Overseeing the Security and Emergency Response Team to ensure an effective and efficient security service.
Coordinating visitor management services and site-wide security activities while maintaining compliance with government standards.
This is a full time role that is based onsite at Rosyth. You’ll work Monday to Friday with a half day on Friday.
Essential experience of the Security Manager
Previous experience working with Government security standards.
Previous experience operating within a highly regulated environment subject to legislation and compliance requirements.
A minimum of five years' experience within a relevant security management or security leadership role.
