The role
As a Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in the successful delivery of work packages within a major nuclear infrastructure programme at Devonport. Working across multidisciplinary teams, you'll lead projects from planning through to delivery, ensuring objectives are achieved safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements.
Day-to-day, you’ll have an exciting opportunity to contribute to nationally important infrastructure that supports the UK's defence capabilities while developing your career within a highly complex and rewarding project environment. You'll gain exposure to large-scale engineering programmes, collaborate with experienced professionals, and help drive projects that make a real difference.
Leading the delivery of project work packages to agreed scope, schedule, cost and quality requirements.
Managing project plans, budgets, forecasts, risks and performance reporting.
Coordinating multidisciplinary teams, internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Monitoring project progress and implementing corrective actions where required.
Ensuring compliance with project governance, safety and regulatory requirements.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.
Essential experience of the Project Manager
Experience delivering projects within engineering, infrastructure, construction or similarly complex technical environments.
Knowledge of core project management disciplines including planning, scheduling, reporting and cost control.
Experience managing project risks, issues and stakeholder relationships.
Strong organisational, communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work within structured governance frameworks and project controls environments.
Essential
