As a Senior Operations Supervisor, you will lead a team of approximately 30 employees supporting Collins Aerospace aftermarket repair operations. You will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of second shift operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, customer service, and productivity objectives are achieved while developing a strong, accountable, and engaged team.
What You Will Do
Lead and develop a team of union employees, establishing clear expectations and fostering a culture of accountability, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Provide hands-on leadership and oversight of second shift operations, ensuring work is prioritized and completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures.
Plan and coordinate daily staffing, workflow, and resources to meet turnaround time (TAT), on-time delivery, customer service, and productivity objectives.
Monitor shift performance, identify operational constraints, and take timely action to address issues impacting safety, quality, delivery, productivity, or customer satisfaction.
Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, Finance, and Customer Service to resolve operational issues and ensure timely completion of repair activities.
Drive continuous improvement and cost-reduction opportunities by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing Lean methodologies and best practices.
