Compensation Range: Between $101,000 - $151,000 CDN annually
Under the Bagotville Site Manager, the Avionics Technical Support Representative is responsible to provide technical Service and Expertise in the field of avionic CF-18 systems and equipment to First and Second line maintenance Units and technicians and solve/liaise Technical problems/issues with the associated and authorised establishments. The incumbent is also responsible to liaise with various stakeholders with troubleshooting, unserviceability rectification and modification implementation.
We are looking for a person with a strong CF-18 Avionics background to join our team of Technical Support Representatives currently in place.
Essential Functions
Provide technical specialist assistance to maintenance managers, technicians and operators on problems with the CF-18 aircraft avionics systems;
Assist maintainers at all levels in researching and interpreting CFTO, and exploiting other reference tools such as Master Parts File, Maintenance Record Set, NAVAIR, drawings, etc.;
Assist when Avionics installation problems occur;
Participate in the validation/verification of new modifications or special inspections;
Assist in the resolution of difficult, unusual or unforeseen problems with aircraft/systems. Conduct technical research and participate in the design of system enhancements and modifications;
