Compensation Range: Between $57,500 - $107,500 CDN annually
About your next challenge as a Specialist, Program Finance:
Under the supervision of the Manager Program Finance, you will be responsible for setting up and monitoring projects to provide the necessary visibility in terms of planning, accounting and project costs control in a Project Management environment.
Essential Functions
Participate in set up and tracking of project budget, as well as communicating work authorizations upon project funding approval.
Conduct periodic monitoring such as assessing overall performance of the project according to principles of Project Management, analyzing discrepancies between the budget and schedule and participating in the preparation of corrective actions.
Assist the Program Manager with scope changes and risk management.
Prepare various performance reports and carry out appropriate monthly financial analysis.
Participate in the development of solutions and decision-making with the Project Manager.
Assist with the preparation of the financial information for the customer.
Actively engage with various departments including contracts, subcontracts, Program management, general accounting and other.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Business Administration - Accounting profile or Project Management
Specialization or Any equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
