We are looking for dedicated and skilled individuals to join our shop floor across several areas in the New Engines department at Zurich-Airport. As a Shopfloor Support (Waterspider) you will play an essential role in maintaining high operational standards, supporting supervisors and technicians, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the shop. Your tasks
Support the daily operation of the LEAP/GTF Engine Shop by preparing materials and coordinating parts and assemblies according to production priorities
Ensure timely and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing goods and documentation
Assist the Supervisor with operational coordination and interface between production, logistics, and tool store
Maintain a clean, well-organized work environment by applying 5S principles across all work areas
Promote and ensure compliance with all Safety, Quality, and Compliance standards and company regulations
Identify opportunities to optimize shop processes, improving efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness
Actively contribute to Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives within the production area
Your Profile
Completed technical or logistics apprenticeship (or equivalent professional experience)
Valid Category B driving license and Swiss forklift license
Accurate, reliable, and self-organised working style with a hands-on approach
Willingness to work in shifts
German skills (B1) and English skills (B2)
Proactive team player with strong sense of responsibility and continuous improvement mindset
