Job Description: L3Harris is seeking a Electrical Engineer with a focus on RF SATCOM System development for the Melbourne/Palm Bay, FL location. In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating RF systems/subsystems with a focus on receive and transmit chain equipment. A familiarity with reflectors and feed design is a plus. An RF Engineer ensures product designs meet company and/or customer requirements in terms of costs, results and manufacturability of end products.

Essential Functions:
Development responsibilities include the design of various passive and active assemblies including RF Converters, power dividers, amplifiers, mixers and filters.
Application of RF system engineering principles in analysis and derivation of subsystem requirements and subsequent flow down for RF distribution networks for use with receivers, tuners, signal processors and other components of the RF network.
