Role & Responsibilities
Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop Quality personnel to ensure performance meets established quality objectives, standards, and customer requirements.
Implement, maintain, and continuously improve Quality policies, procedures, and activities. Promote effective communication and the sharing of quality-related information, best practices, and technical knowledge across functions.
Review manpower requirements, resource allocation, and capacity planning to ensure adequate Quality support for operational and business needs.
Establish and review equipment, inspection, and calibration requirements to ensure reliability, compliance, and optimal utilization of Quality resources.
Monitor industry trends, customer requirements, regulatory changes, and developments in Quality practices. Evaluate and recommend improvements, equipment, systems, and technologies that enhance product quality and process capability.
Establish and manage Quality operating budgets, monitor expenditures and resource utilization, and ensure effective prioritization of spending in line with business objectives.
Lead and support the implementation of applicable Quality Management System requirements, including AS9100, customer-specific requirements, and regulatory standards.
