Job Description
Mission Critical Communications (MCC) Department of Defense (DoD) business unit is seeking a Program Manager responsible for managing the cost, schedule and technical performance requirements of US DoD Programs through all phases from proposal to period of performance completion. Ensures that all resources such as engineering staffing, subcontractors, production, quality and facilities are available to support internal and external delivery targets. Manages programs to achieve MCC quarterly orders, revenue, OI & cash flow targets. Assists Sales team to secure new orders, formulate requirements, and help expedite orders. Works with customers to determine scope, technical and execution requirements and new business opportunities. Travel is required to customer locations.
Essential Functions
Experience running programs in the Defense and Aerospace industry and managing contracts for the US DoD.
Experience managing Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) programs.
Experience managing complex integrated systems programs.
Drive establishment and monitoring of key performance indicators related to cost, schedule, risk and technical performance across all program life-cycle phases, from kick-off through production.
