The incumbent will serve as Pilot-in-Command of the King Air 360ER and will be responsible for conducting flight inspections, flight and ground validation activities, and investigations related to aircraft and air traffic control (ATC) operations. These activities support the safe and efficient operation of the Air Navigation System through the validation of instrument and visual flight procedures, the assessment of air navigation system requirements, and the provision of executive air transport services.

Key Accountabilities
Analyze data from a variety of aircraft systems to validate aeronautical information and ensure instrument procedures are operationally suitable for the aircraft types flown.
Conduct technical assessments of certified and experimental aircraft communication, navigation, and surveillance (CNS) systems.
Test communication, satellite-based navigation, and surveillance systems to evaluate, promote, and implement emerging aviation technologies.
Conduct and manage fixed-wing flight test operations to verify compliance with airworthiness standards applicable to aircraft communication and navigation systems.
Perform aerial surveys to support the certification and validation of obstacle data within the Canadian Air Navigation System (ANS).
Investigate aviation occurrences related to communication, navigation, and surveillance systems and procedures.
Provide quality assurance analysis and assessments of radar, satellite-based, and conventional navigation procedures.
Conduct flight inspection and calibration activities for communication, navigation, and surveillance ground-based equipment.
