Supplies Officer (Component Repair & Overhaul)

HAECO Component Overhaul is an independent MRO offering offering a wide range of repair and overhaul solutions for aircraft components from purpose-built facilities in Hong Kong and Xiamen, our workshops also facilitate the closed-loop repair of components.

Position Description

Reporting to the Manager, Operation Support & Technical Services (Component Repair & Overhaul), the incumbent will join a small and efficient team responsible for handling supplies and planning activities, including material control, planning, purchasing, shipping, and logistics operations.

What You'll Do

• Promote a strong safety and quality culture
• Coordinate with production frontline team, commercial team, and supplies team on day-to-day operations to ensure components are repaired and returned to customers on time
• Monitor material availability and coordinate purchasing and provisioning activities to minimize spare parts shortages
• Monitor OEMs, suppliers, and forwarders performance, and follow up on delivery lead times
• Work with the purchasing team and supplies provisioning team to ensure adequate supplies for the production line
• Assist in handling shipping and logistics activities
• Assist production in controlling delivery lead times and resource planning to meet customer expectations
• Coordinate warehouse and repair management activities, including material control, order tracking, monitoring turnaround times to support operational and customer requirements

1. Technical and other Relevant Experience

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in materials, planning, or supplies within a maintenance, engineering, or manufacturing company

2. Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge

• Degree in any discipline
• Knowledge of material control, purchasing, shipping, logistics, and planning
• Knowledge of component maintenance and store operations is an advantage
• Experience in material management, supply chain management, and/or shipping operations
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Good command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written
