Stores Team Leader - Leeds Main Stores

Are you an experienced Storekeeper looking to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity for a Stores Team Leader to support our Engineering Stores. Interested? As our Stores Team Leader you'll be responsible for the direction of a team of Storekeepers, working as One Team to ensure that all parts are stored, packed, handled and located correctly, ensuring work is carried out to a high standard at all times.

Shift: 2 days, 2 nights

What you'll be doing:

• The Stores Team Leader is responsible for managing the dispatch of urgent requirements to minimise disruption and unnecessary costs.
• You will maintain records of all transactions and parts inventories, control stock levels and carry out stock checks regularly, as well as taking responsibility for the health and safety of the Team.
• In addition, you'll mentor new starters and oversee their training.

What you'll have:

• You'll ideally have supervisory experience or have held a similar position or level of responsibility.
• You will have experience managing a team in a busy and demanding environment and have excellent organisation skills.
• The Stores Team Leader will also have an in-depth knowledge of Storekeeping and published Engineering Procedures and regulatory requirements, particularly in relation to dangerous goods.
