The role

The Senior Configuration Management Analyst is responsible for delivering engineering Configuration Management (CM), document control, and data management services across the Land Capability Program. Working closely with project and engineering teams, the role ensures configuration baselines, technical data, and project documentation are accurately managed, controlled, and readily accessible throughout the program lifecycle.

Further, the successful candidate will:

• Develop and maintain the Configuration Management Plan.
• Coordinate change control activities and prepare approval documentation for review boards.
• Assess the impact of proposed changes on system and capability outcomes.
• Support the delivery and continuous improvement of Configuration Management frameworks and processes.
• Promote Configuration Management best practices, including baseline management, change control, and deviation management.
• Support Project Managers and Engineering Managers in establishing and maintaining project baselines.
• Where priorities/activites change, the position may be called to support other projects.

Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office and a 9-day fortnight will be considered for this role.

About you

Your skills and experience will include:

• 3+ years’ experience working within CM roles.
• Defence industry experience in project-based team or product engineering management environment.
• Proven ability in effective internal customer liaison.
• Ability to manage multiple demands and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
• Experience of specialist configuration management tools and/or engineering data management systems.
• Demonstrated experience in complex task management.
• Experience in creating process documentation and workflows.

Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold or be able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level.
