Tasks: Requesting freight quotes (road, air, sea) from authorized forwarding partners for piece part, engine and engine stand shipments and nominate forwarder based on costs, quality and customer service aspectsCoordinating and monitoring shipments, analyzing irregularities and initiating corrective actionsMonitoring legally compliant customs handling at origin and destinationMonitoring all transport related documents are being archived in the MLS documentation software.In case of transport damages, compiling incident reports and all relevant documentation for claims processing.Support the integration of Transport/Logistics processes into the lease and asset management process landscape.Contribute to projects involving Transportation, Customs, Logistics, and Foreign Trade.Assist in the development of internal training materials related to Transportation and Logistics and give advice to other internal departmentsSupport the operational management, development and improvement of our various Logistics warehouses worldwideSupport the Senior Transport and Logistics Manager in continuous process and transport cost optimizationRequirements:Bachelor degree, logistics or business administartion desirableRelevant aviation industry experienceAbility to handle multiple duties / priorities on a daily basisWillingness to work in an international environmentDetail oriented, structured and able to prioritizeGood IT skills, in particular MS OfficeConversational level of English language Ready to give your career a boost?
