(Junior) Operational Buyer with German (m/f/diverse)

This role offers a mix of operational procurement, stakeholder interaction, problem-solving, and process ownership. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and make a tangible impact on the efficiency and quality of procurement operations.

Tasks

In this position, you will combine hands-on procurement execution with stakeholder support, process improvement, and close collaboration across the business

• Support suppliers and internal stakeholders by resolving routine issues related to deliveries, pricing discrepancies, and product availability

• Execute procurement activities, including purchase requisition validation, shopping cart creation, purchase order processing, order adjustments, and goods receipt booking
• Handle inquiries via email and phone, ensuring timely and professional communication
• Identify potential risks, perform error analysis, and support the resolution of escalations
• Initiate vendor creation and updates while maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation
• Ensure high-quality and timely delivery of services in line with agreed service levels
• Apply procurement procedures, contribute to process improvements, and act as a Subject Matter Expert for assigned processes
• Support operational activities such as reporting, statistics, workshops

Requirements

• Master/Bachelor degree or at least accomplished 3rd year of studies in any disciplines
• At least 1 year of professional experience in Procurement area

• Command of English (written and spoken) – min. B2
• Command of German (written and spoken) – min. B2
• Good command of MS office and Windows applications
• Good command of Procurement related tools
