What are your contributions to the team?

  • Provide legal & contracts support to various procurement and operations teams;
  • Draft and help negotiate commercial agreements, such as non-disclosure agreements, and purchase agreements;
  • Contribute to the Contracts and Legal Services team’s work by drafting correspondence, gathering information and documentation in order to develop internal strategies or in response to requests for documents, and researching and analyzing legal issues;
  • Conduct legal research on a range of legal and contract topics relating to commercial law, private international law and privacy law, and communicate your findings to the legal team in writing or by way of oral presentation;

  • Be enrolled in a university law degree program;
  • Be detailed oriented;
  • Possess advanced research & analytical skills;
  • Be excited by the prospect of working with experienced lawyers and contracts professionals in the fast-paced business environment of a global company;
  • Be bilingual – French and English, and have strong drafting skills in English;
  • Experience reviewing, drafting or analyzing contracts is an asset, but not a requirement;
  • Have experience conducting legal research and drafting clear and concise legal memoranda;
  • Have the ability to work under moderate supervision, to prioritize and to multi-task; and
  • Be comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams that include lawyers, engineers, marketers, procurement and strategy people.

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
