Position Summary

The Frontend Developer develops and maintains websites, publishes digital content, and builds marketing emails for Flexjet and its affiliated brands. This role combines modern frontend development using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js with hands-on website production in Prismic and responsive HTML email development.

The position is responsible for turning approved designs, copy, and assets into polished digital experiences. Success requires strong technical skills, sound visual judgment, attention to detail, and ownership of work from initial requirements through testing and release.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development

• Develop and maintain responsive website features using React, Next.js, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS.
• Build reusable components, page templates, and Prismic slices that support consistent design and efficient publishing.
• Translate approved designs into accessible interfaces, including navigation, forms, interactive tools, and landing pages.
• Integrate website features with APIs, CMS content, analytics, and marketing platforms.
• Implement user interactions, component state, asynchronous requests, form validation, and error handling.
• Troubleshoot application defects, browser compatibility issues, and performance problems.
• Follow team standards for source control, code reviews, testing, documentation, and deployment.

Website Content Production

• Assemble, update, and publish website pages in Prismic using established templates and components.
• Arrange approved copy, photography, video, links, and calls to action into clear, visually balanced pages.
• Maintain product pages, destination content, articles, campaign landing pages, and promotional placements.
• Prepare images and other assets for web use, including sizing, cropping, optimization, and alternative text.
• Configure and verify metadata, heading structure, internal links, and other publishing requirements.
• Coordinate localized updates using approved translations and regional requirements.
• Review content across desktop and mobile layouts and verify accuracy after publication.
• Identify opportunities to improve reusable components and simplify routine publishing.

Email Development and Production

• Create and maintain responsive HTML emails using approved creative, copy, and brand standards.
• Develop reusable email templates and modules that support efficient campaign production.
• Apply email-compatible HTML and CSS, including table-based layouts and inline styles where needed.
• Configure email content, links, tracking parameters, and personalization within the designated marketing platform.
• Test emails across supported clients and devices, including Outlook and mobile applications.
• Verify subject lines, preheaders, images, links, fallback content, and required footer elements.
• Prepare test sends, incorporate feedback, and coordinate final readiness with the campaign owner.

Quality Assurance and Coordination

• Apply established accessibility, technical SEO, performance, and brand standards.
• Confirm that requests include the requirements, assets, copy, and approvals needed for completion.
• Provide realistic estimates, track progress, and communicate missing inputs or delivery risks promptly.
• Manage revisions through the team’s established project and approval process.
• Complete appropriate functional, visual, and content checks before release.
• Maintain documentation, production checklists, and reusable resources.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, IT, and other developers to deliver work across multiple brands.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining production websites with React and Next.js.
• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript, including asynchronous programming, data manipulation, and API integration.
• Working proficiency in TypeScript and an understanding of React components, hooks, state, and rendering behavior.
• Understanding of server and client rendering concepts within Next.js.
• Strong HTML and CSS skills for both responsive websites and email development.
• Experience assembling and publishing content through a CMS, preferably Prismic or another headless CMS.
• Understanding of email client limitations and techniques for consistent rendering.
• Experience using Git, browser developer tools, and debugging methods to investigate issues independently.
• Working knowledge of accessibility, on-page SEO, website performance, and cross-browser testing.
• Strong visual judgment related to layout, typography, spacing, imagery, and content hierarchy.
• Ability to manage multiple requests, follow established processes, and deliver accurate work with appropriate independence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Next.js App Router, Tailwind CSS, and Vercel.
• Experience with Salesforce Account Engagement, Marketing Cloud, or comparable email marketing platforms.
• Familiarity with email rendering and testing tools.
• Experience supporting multilingual websites and multiple brands.
• Familiarity with Figma, image preparation tools, and reusable design systems.
• Experience with automated testing, analytics implementation, and marketing form integrations.

• Website features meet approved requirements and function reliably across supported devices and browsers.
• Code is maintainable, reusable, and consistent with team standards.
• Website pages and emails are accurate, visually consistent, and delivered within agreed timelines.
• Accessibility, performance, and quality requirements are addressed before release.
• Routine development and production work progresses independently, with timely escalation of blockers.
• Reusable components, templates, and documented processes improve efficiency and reduce recurring errors.
