What you'll do

As noted above, this list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.

• Primarily responsible for evaluation of the functions of safety systems and operational policies and processes of Inflight Operations
• Develops evaluation process tools and methods (checklists, interview outlines, etc)
• Performs functions as Evaluator during offsite codeshare assessments, potentially in a lead role
• Facilitates Corrective Action Plans
• Maintains and updates evaluation files
• Verifies the implementation of corrective actions
• Conducts evaluation data trend analysis
• Works with IEP team to develop an evaluation plan
• Prioritizes planned evaluations using risk assessment techniques
• Some travel both domestic and international is required

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• At least 5 years aviation experience, at least 2 years must be in a Part 121 Flight Operations (required)
• Relevant experience, such as 14 CFR Part 135 or military will be considered
• Flight Attendant or other relevant Inflight operations, training, safety, compliance, or quality assurance experience preferred
• Prior supervisory or management experience desired
• Prior auditing, inspection, quality assurance, compliance, or safety assurance experience preferred

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Demonstrate competence, objectivity, integrity, and impartiality
• Ability to interpret and apply applicable regulations, standards, company manuals, and procedures
• Possess a thorough understanding of relevant CFRs and company manuals
• Proficient with computer systems and programs including Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Excellent time management, communication and facilitator skills and possess the ability to formulate comprehensive reports
