Discover is our internship programme for UAE National students and students who hold a valid UAE residence visa, whether you are studying at a university in the UAE or overseas.

Designed for placements of at least two months, Discover gives you the time to gain meaningful, hands-on workplace experience, build practical skills and understand what it is like to work inside a global aviation and travel organisation.

You’ll join one of our teams across Emirates or dnata and get involved in meaningful work with clear learning goals. You’ll learn from experienced colleagues, build connections and see how different teams contribute to a Group that connects people, places and economies around the world.

This isn’t about observing from the side lines. It’s an opportunity to learn by doing, explore your interests and gain experience that will help you take your next career step with greater confidence.

Programme details

Duration
Internships are a minimum of two months, giving you time to settle into your team, develop your skills and make the most of the experience. The exact duration will depend on the placement and business requirements.

Location
The programme is fully on-site, giving you the opportunity to experience the day-to-day working environment of your host team.

Compensation
Discover is an unpaid internship programme focused on practical experience, learning and career development.

Your placement
Opportunities are available across a wide range of areas, which may include HR, Finance, Technology, Commercial, Corporate Communications, Operations and Engineering, subject to business needs and availability.

During the selection process, we’ll learn more about your academic background, interests and career aspirations to help identify an appropriate placement.

• Able to communicate clearly and confidently.
• Thoughtful problem-solvers who are open to feedback and new experiences.

You don’t need to arrive knowing everything. What matters is your willingness to learn, get involved and make the most of the experience.

Who can apply?

To be considered for Discover, you must:

• Be currently enrolled at a recognised university, either in the UAE or overseas or have graduated within the last 12 months.
• Be a UAE National or hold a valid UAE residence visa.
• Be 27 years old or below.
• Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent.
• Be available to complete an internship of at least two months, on-site in the UAE.

If shortlisted, you’ll be invited to an interview where we’ll learn more about you, your studies, interests and what you hope to gain from the experience.

Successful candidates will then be matched with an appropriate opportunity based on their profile, interests and available business requirements.
