Role Introduction
Reports to: Digital Workplace Product Manager
Lead the strategy, roadmap and lifecycle management of Cathay’s End User Computing (EUC) product portfolio, shaping the digital workplace experience for employees across desktop, mobile and collaboration environments. Partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable and cost-effective endpoint solutions that enhance productivity, resilience and operational excellence.
Drive the evolution of workplace technologies including Microsoft Intune, Configuration Manager, Windows Autopilot, Apple Business Manager, Nexthink, Microsoft Teams Rooms and endpoint security platforms. Combining product leadership, service governance and innovation, you will help define how employees connect, collaborate and work across the organisation, creating technology experiences that move people forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product strategy, roadmap, standards and lifecycle plans for Cathay’s End User Computing platforms and services
- Lead the end-to-end ownership of endpoint technologies, covering demand management, delivery, adoption, operations, optimisation and retirement
- Govern Windows, macOS and mobile device ecosystems, ensuring compliance, security, performance and user experience objectives are achieved
- Evaluate emerging workplace technologies, vendors and managed services through market assessments, proof-of-concept activities and business value analysis
- Drive endpoint management capabilities using Microsoft Intune, Configuration Manager, Windows Autopilot, Apple Business Manager and related technologies
- Champion digital employee experience improvements through platforms such as Nexthink, workplace analytics and service observability
- Develop automation, self-service and AIOps capabilities to improve operational efficiency, service quality and support outcomes
- Lead the delivery of workplace technology initiatives, including endpoint lifecycle management, enterprise printing, meeting-room technologies and content delivery services
- Manage service performance, technology risks, vendor relationships, budgets and investment decisions to ensure sustainable and cost-effective operations
- Develop internal and partner teams through coaching, stakeholder engagement and a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and innovation
Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- At least 10 years of experience in enterprise Information Technology, with substantial experience in End User Computing and workplace technology environments
- Proven experience owning enterprise technology products across strategy, roadmap development, delivery, adoption, operational management, commercial governance and lifecycle optimisation
- Strong expertise in Windows, macOS and mobile endpoint management, including device and application lifecycle management, endpoint security and compliance
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Configuration Manager, Windows Autopilot, Microsoft Entra ID integration and Apple Business Manager
- Demonstrated experience with Digital Employee Experience (DEX) platforms such as Nexthink or equivalent solutions
- Experience managing workplace technology services including enterprise printing, Microsoft Teams Rooms, meeting-room technologies and content delivery platforms such as Microsoft Connected Cache
- Proven capability in evaluating enterprise hardware, software, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms and managed services through proof-of-concept, security, architecture and commercial assessments
- Strong knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM), service transition, incident, problem, change, release, vulnerability, vendor and financial management practices
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills, with experience leading internal, outsourced and globally distributed teams; airline or travel industry experience would be advantageous
