This position is for a Capacity Growth Office (CGO)Test Solutions Lead supporting enterprise‑level production test capability, factory capacity growth, and munitions acceleration programs across the RTX portfolio. The position reports into Test Solutions, in the Hardware Engineering Discipline within Raytheon Engineering.

The CGO Test Solutions Lead serves as the strategic interface between Test Solutions and the Capacity Growth Office (CGO), driving scalable, composable, and production‑ready test architectures needed to support over $1B in active and near‑term production acceleration initiatives. This leader ensures alignment across factories, suppliers, and programs, enabling coordinated delivery of test capability, automation, capital deployment, and roadmaps required to meet takt, throughput, and capacity growth commitments.

This role represents a large enterprise‑scale test execution leadership position that influences long‑range planning, commonality, and cross‑program decision making across multiple munitions and sensor production lines. The CGO Test Solutions Lead will define production test strategy, guide capital investment sequencing, mitigate enterprise‑level test risk, and drive the transition toward composable and common test solutions that enable sustained factory growth.

Primary tasking is in Tucson, AZ with a minimum expectation of onsite presence in Tucson for at least one (1) week every month. This role is classified as Onsite.

What You Will Do

  • Lead enterprise‑wide production test strategy and execution across programs and factories to meet takt, yield, and throughput goals
  • Deliver scalable, composable, and common test architectures aligned with CGO factory acceleration and supplier readiness needs
  • Drive capital and automation roadmaps, ensuring sequenced deployment of test equipment, modernization, and infrastructure upgrades
  • Serve as technical authority for test architecture commonality, composability, and feasibility, influencing long‑range planning and cross‑program alignment
  • Coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, factories, and program teams to ensure production‑ready test capability meets contractual rate and acceptance requirements
  • Direct and influence multi‑discipline test teams responsible for design, deployment, and sustainment of production test solutions across multiple sites
  • Guide enterprise test roadmap decisions, prioritizing automation, outsourcing, and technology upgrades while sustaining critical legacy systems
  • Drive strategic alignment across factories and programs, ensuring consistency in test planning, capability development, and capital investment

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of fourteen (14) years of hardware and/or software design, development, or production test experience
  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience in development and implementation of production or depot-level test capabilities
  • Experience leading engineering teams with responsibility for performance, staffing, and delivering production‑ready solutions
  • Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
  • Experience developing and/or evaluating technical and/or cost proposals

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Technical background with demonstrated progression of management responsibilities
  • Communication skills capable of influencing senior/executive leadership and presenting strategy, cost, and schedule impacts
  • Experience with hardware or software development in DoD or defense production environments
  • Experience driving alignment across multiple factories, production lines, and development teams
  • BOE developer/approver certification and/or Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) certification
  • Experience with automation, test equipment architecture, and capital deployment strategies

The salary range for this role is 186,200 USD - 353,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
