Our client is a leading global aviation manufacturer and support provider, serving operators of Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft worldwide. They are seeking highly skilled and motivated B2 Licensed Engineers to join the team in Melbourne, Australia
The main role of the Engineers is to identify and correct malfunctioning jet, turboprop, and reciprocating multi-engine aircraft electrical and wiring components and systems. Performs annual and progressive inspections as well as modification work on customer aircraft.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of avionics and electrical duties on one or more jet and/or turboprop involving diagnoses of malfunctions and required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, or adjustment of various aircraft systems to prepare aircraft for flight and delivery to customer.
  • Requires thorough knowledge of aircraft avionics systems, electrical and wiring systems on all assigned aircraft.
  • Requires knowledge of annual and progressive inspection procedures set forth in aircraft maintenance manuals. Performs modification work on aircraft systems and structures.
  • Responsible for clear, concise, and accurate written reports in logs, inspection reports and in parts identification for issue and return documents.

Requirements

  • Valid CASA/ NZCAA B2 License
  • Type rated on a Citation 560 with a JT15 Series
  • Minimum 5 years of certifying experience in a base maintenance environment
