About the role

AES (Aircraft Engineering Services Ltd) are inviting applications for experienced B1 Licensed Engineers to be based at Manchester Airport on 2D2N or 4N rotations working in partnership with our client Ryanair, Europe's largest airline.

Responsibilities – Reporting to the Engineering Shift Leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety, reliability and performance across the Line Maintenance operation. Duties will include:

• Routine servicing and defect rectification of Ryanair’s 737-800 and 737-8200 Fleet.
• Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery.
• Supervision and mentoring of Aircraft Mechanics and Trainees assigned to their team.
• Ensuring maintenance is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with the approved procedures and regulatory requirements, including the promotion of a strong safety and compliance culture.

About You

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who will work without direct supervision and be able to demonstrate a flexible working attitude in a fast-changing environment.

You will have proven Line Maintenance experience, strong technical knowledge of the Boeing 737 and the ability to supervise a team effectively in a time sensitive operation.

You should be comfortable working independently, making sound decisions under pressure and adapting to changing operational priorities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Aircraft Line Maintenance experience (Essential).
• UK CAA Part-66 B1 Licence holder with Boeing 737-NG Type Endorsement & Recency (Essential).
• EASA Part-66 B1 Licence holder with Boeing 737-NG Type Endorsement & Recency (Desirable)
• Boeing 737-Max Type Endorsement (Desirable – Type Courses Available).
• Airbus A320 (CFM56 & IAE V2500) Type Endorsement (Desirable)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (Essential).
• Good IT Literacy (Essential), with AMOS Experience (Desirable).
• All applicants must have unrestricted right to work and travel in the UK and hold a Full UK Driving Licence.

Salary

£102,000 + shift allowance
