At ALAS Flight Academy, we are seeking an experienced aviation professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for developing the next generation of commercial pilots.

Position Overview

Lead, oversee, and standardize flight instruction to ensure training quality, operational safety, and compliance with approved training programs and the requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority of Panama.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise flight instructor performance and ensure consistent application of standardized instructional methods.
• Monitor student progress and coordinate actions to support learning and successful completion of training.
• Ensure compliance with operational safety procedures, approved training programs, and applicable aviation regulations.

• A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to operational safety.

Requirements

• Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
• Valid Flight Instructor License with Instrument and Multi-Engine ratings.
• A minimum of 2,000 hours as pilot in command.
• At least three years of flight instruction experience and 1,000 hours of flight instruction, or at least 1,500 hours of flight instruction for applicants with fewer than three years of experience.
• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or higher.
• Compliance with recent flight experience requirements and successful completion of the knowledge and proficiency assessments established by the Civil Aviation Authority of Panama.
