Aircraft Mechanic - Cmb

Job Purpose

To assist aircraft technicians in carrying out maintenance activities on Emirates fleet and third party a/c and components in accordance with laid down procedures and regulations. The job holder will be part of a team reporting to an LAE and will always work under the supervision of a senior staff.

• Carry out routine maintenance tasks mostly under the supervision of a senior staff. Routine servicing is expected to be carried out as delegated by the senior staff. Must alert the designated Engineer of any defects noted while carrying out tasks and source the material/parts required to accomplish the task.
• Assist in the removal/installation process of components.
• Under supervision will perform cleaning of aircraft and components I.A.W the required safety procedures.
• Assist in the maintenance and usage of tools and equipment as required by specific maintenance tasks and ensure same is cleaned and properly stowed and spares are returned to racks.
• Maintain and ensure full safety for self and others by continuously monitoring the working area and taking action to keep working area clean and obstruction free.
• Ability to communicate with team members and to demonstrate full understanding of tasks required to be done.
• Is expected to have knowledge and understanding of job related documentation, objectives and protocol. Must be fully conversant with Company procedures and employment regulations.
• To carry out any other tasks assigned by the supervisors in order to achieve work target.

Qualifications & Experience

HND/OND without OJT (aviation college grad)
