Aircraft Library & OSL Crew Support

Type of contract: Permanent

Our people are the heart of Norwegian.
We embrace a culture of diversity, equality, and inclusion. This is essential to our success and makes us stronger together. Our people bring different knowledge, experiences, and backgrounds, but we all share a passion for our vision: to become the most loved and trusted airline in Europe.

Are you our new Aircraft Library & OSL Crew Support?
We are looking for a structured, service-minded and operationally focused colleague to join our Flight Support team at Oslo Airport.
This is a varied dual role combining approximately 50% responsibility for aircraft documentation and onboard libraries with 50% operational and administrative support for our crew base at OSL.

You will play an important role in ensuring that safety-critical documentation on board our aircraft is accurate, updated and compliant, while also acting as a key point of contact for crew members and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of our OSL base.

Reporting to the Director Flight Support, you will work closely with colleagues across Flight Support, Flight Operations Engineering, Crew Management, Base Management, Security and other operational functions.

In this role, you will

Aircraft Library

  • Maintain and update physical aircraft libraries across the fleet.
  • Ensure checklists, Quick Reference Handbooks, certificates, forms and other required onboard documentation are current and compliant.
  • Perform regular physical inspections and spot-checks of aircraft and cabin crew libraries.
  • Manage inventory and replenishment of onboard forms and documentation.
  • Distribute important operational information, manuals and other materials to crew.
  • Support short-notice revisions and ensure crews receive clear written instructions when required.
  • Maintain and improve internal procedures related to aircraft documentation and library management.
  • Support corrective actions and continuous improvement following operational feedback or audit findings.
  • Contribute to administrative follow-up within Flight Support.

OSL Crew Support

  • Act as a visible and reliable point of contact for crew members at Oslo Airport.
  • Support the receipt, tracking and distribution of crew equipment such as ID cards, uniforms, company phones and Crew Member Certificates.
  • Assist with airport security pass applications, background checks and related Avinor processes.
  • Coordinate closely with Crew Management, Base Management and Security on local support activities.
  • Support day-to-day logistics and administration in the OSL crew room.
  • Manage office and crew-room supplies, including ordering and replenishment.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries and local vendors.
  • Support meetings, events and other practical activities at the crew base.
  • Assist with local facility-related tasks in cooperation with relevant stakeholders.
  • Travel to other Norwegian crew bases when required to support documentation or administrative activities.

We believe you will thrive in this role if you:

  • Are highly structured and comfortable working with detailed and safety-critical information.
  • Enjoy combining administrative responsibility with practical, hands-on operational tasks.
  • Are service-minded, approachable and enjoy supporting colleagues in a busy operational environment.
  • Work well independently and are comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day priorities.
  • Can handle several tasks at the same time while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communicate clearly and build good relationships across functions.
  • Are proactive and comfortable solving unexpected logistical or administrative challenges.
  • Have a genuine interest in aviation and airline operations.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:

  • 2–3 years of relevant experience from aviation, airline operations, airport administration, logistics or a similar operational environment.
  • Preferably a relevant university degree or other higher education.
  • A good understanding of aviation documentation and operational requirements.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Good digital skills and confidence using standard office tools and tablets.
  • Fluency in English and at least one Scandinavian language, both written and spoken.

Experience with EASA requirements, aircraft documentation, crew logistics, airport security processes or base administration will be considered an advantage.

We can offer
There are lots of benefits that go beyond a competitive salary once you join us as a colleague. We aim to reward, support and develop our people throughout their careers.

  • Travel in Europe and beyond with heavily discounted employee tickets with Norwegian and our partner airlines.
  • Good pension arrangements.
  • Comprehensive medical and travel insurance.
  • A competitive salary.
  • Possibility to participate in activities run by Norwegian SportsClub.
  • Opportunity to join our employee share-saving plan.
  • A varied operational role with close contact across several parts of Norwegian.
  • The opportunity to work at the heart of our operation at Oslo Airport.
