This is an exciting opportunity to build a rewarding career within the defence, aerospace and aviation sector. You'll gain valuable experience in operational logistics, stakeholder engagement and aircraft support activities while working in an environment where your contribution has a genuine impact on national defence capability and customer satisfaction.

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:

  • Assist Royal Air Force personnel with VIP escorting duties.
  • Support RAF Movements staff with a range of specialist operational activities.
  • Engage professionally with customers, military personnel and key stakeholders.
  • Maintain safe working practices and supporting operational compliance requirements.

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and based onsite at RAF Northolt.

Essential experience of the Air Movements Handler

  • Experience engaging with customers and stakeholders in a face-to-face environment.
  • Demonstrable commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and diplomatically.
  • Experience working safely and adhering to health and safety procedures.
  • Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, or willingness to undertake training as part of the role.

  • Full clean manual UK driving licence.
  • Good standard of written and spoken English and mathematics.
